1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS mobile application (”the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (”Terms”). The App is owned and operated by Andréas Lukacs Sjöblom (”the Developer”, ”I”, ”me”, or ”my”), based in Sweden. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to access or use PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS in any capacity. This strict age requirement applies to all users and all features of the App, whether you choose to create a registered account or only use limited features (such as completing assessments) stored locally on your device. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
If I become aware that an account has been created by a person who does not meet the age requirement set out in this Section, I reserve the right to suspend or delete that account and any associated cloud-based data.
3. Nature of Service & Medical Disclaimer (IMPORTANT)
PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS provides self-insight tools utilizing the Big Five model (IPIP-NEO-120) and attachment profiling (ECR-RS).
- Educational Purposes Only: The App is intended strictly for education, personal reflection, and entertainment.
- Not Medical Advice: PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS is not a medical device, nor is it a clinical or diagnostic tool. The assessments, results, and insights provided by the App do not constitute professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- No Substitute for Professionals: You should never disregard professional medical or psychological advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or experienced in the App. If you are experiencing emotional distress or a psychological crisis, please contact a healthcare professional or emergency service immediately.
- Release of Liability: The Developer assumes no responsibility for any psychological distress, relationship issues, or personal decisions made as a result of using the App or interpreting its generated profiles.
4. User Accounts and Security
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account via email or Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify me immediately.
5. User Conduct and Profile Sharing
PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS allows users to generate, share, scan, and compare profile information through user-specific QR codes and related comparison features. These features are optional and are used at the user’s own initiative.
- Voluntary Sharing: You are solely responsible for deciding whether, when, and with whom you share your profile information. You should only share your profile data with persons you trust and only in circumstances where you are comfortable doing so.
- User Responsibility for Shared Data: Once you voluntarily display, share, or allow another person to scan your QR code or otherwise access your profile information, you acknowledge that the Developer cannot control how that other person views, interprets, remembers, describes, or further discusses that information.
- Respectful Use: You agree to use PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS respectfully and lawfully. You may not use the App, or any profile information obtained through it, to harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, shame, manipulate, defame, discriminate against, or otherwise harm another person.
- Use for Intended Purpose Only: You may use the QR scanning and comparison features solely for their intended purpose within PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS. You may not use the App to collect profile information from others without their knowledge, to misrepresent your identity, or to attempt unauthorized access to another user’s account or data.
- No Guarantee of Accuracy or Compatibility: Profile comparisons, summaries, and related outputs are provided for educational, reflective, and informational purposes only. They are not statements of fact about any person, and they must not be used as the sole basis for making important personal, relational, medical, educational, legal, or employment decisions.
- Camera Use: The App’s QR scanning feature uses your device’s camera solely to scan PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS profile codes for comparison purposes. You agree to use this feature only as intended and in compliance with applicable law.
- Enforcement: If you misuse the sharing or comparison features, or if your conduct creates risk for other users, the Developer may suspend or terminate your access to account-based features or to the App in accordance with these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
App Ownership: The software code, design, user interface, graphics, and original digital content of the PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS app are the property of the Developer and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or publish any part of the App’s proprietary design or software without explicit written permission.
Third-Party Psychological Frameworks: PRISMA PERSONALITY INSIGHTS utilizes established psychological assessments, specifically the IPIP-NEO-120 and the Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised Short (ECR-RS) questionnaire. The Developer makes no claim of ownership over these underlying psychological models, theories, or the specific questionnaire items. These tools remain the intellectual property of their respective creators or reside in the public domain, and are implemented within the App in accordance with their standard use guidelines.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the App.
The App is provided on an ”AS IS” and ”AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Termination
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at my sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
10. Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, I will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
